Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is well-known for his unique style of rapping. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on the 22nd of April, 1990 into the family of a German and English Scottish family. As a child Baker, he spent a good amount of time travelling with his parents, who were missionaries. James Colson Baker, his father, was depressed and was unemployed. His mother Sonia Alane had left him when he turned nine. Baker's dad moved together with him to Denver and lived with the aunt of his father. Baker's poverty was the reason for the bullying of children who were around him. In sixth grade, he began listening to rap. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989 in Texas. He is best known for his hip-hop infused rock and his modern alternative. Baker was signed to Bad Boy Records in 2010, released four mixes between 2007 and 2010. This Cleveland rapper, who delivers songs as quickly as bullets, saw an astonishing rise towards the end of 2011 when he switched from self-releasing mixtapes and working with respected labels. From there his career skyrocketed and each album charting in the top ten.
